The carbon-fibre program with Wajer Yachts remains one of the few EX-CORE® projects not covered by confidentiality agreements, with its Managing Director praising the technology.
Ex-Core delivered the enormous windshield surround on the 13.1-metre Wajer 44 yacht, in a shape it simply could not have achieved with any other existing technology.
The Wajer 44 uses Ex-Core in other weight- and rigidity-critical areas, too, but the standout is the exposed carbon-fibre of the Ex-Core windshield. Capable of 74km/h, the yacht has a windshield surround that is stronger than metal or any other form of carbon-fibre, yet it will never corrode.
The exposed carbon-fibre surface, directly from the inside of the Ex-Core tooling, also requires far less finishing than conventional carbon-fibre components.

Manufacturing output can be comfortably adjusted up or down depending on market and seasonal demand, and Ex-Core’s processes have been designed to accommodate that.
